My favourite online workout channels

In the age of lockdowns, home workouts and ebook programs, there are so many to choose from!

These are my favourite YouTube workout channels and videos:

Yoga

Yoga With Adrienne - beautiful yoga flows and 30-day programs to follow along at home

Lesley Fightmaster Yoga - It was Lesley’s videos that got me into yoga 7 years ago. She has a more advanced flow style and ranges from 20 minute classes to hour long Vinyasa flows.

Pilates

Blogilates - Pilates mixed with body weight exercised mixed with weights workouts. Mostly minimal equipment and super high vibe - Cassey will have you smiling through the burn.

Move With Nicole - Intermediate to advanced pilates workouts - some full body, some body area specific.

Fluid Form Pilates - The perfect sneak peek into their famous home workout programs.

Body weight and HIIT

MadFit - A fantastic array of videos ranging from body weight, full body, dancing and booty band workouts.

Fit by Larie - Another huge array of workouts, also including many pre and post-natal safe videos.

Fun

The Fitness Marshall - Shake your booty and dance away a stressful day.

Of course it goes without saying, moving your body is important and beneficial for so many aspects of health - mental, physical and emotional. But always be sure to check in with yourself to see what you actually feel like doing that day and how you want to move your body.

Instead of making exercise just a ‘tick box’ to check off at the end of the day, ask yourself how you want to be moving that day. Some days might be a HIIT or weights workout, others Pilates and some will be a relaxing yoga - there is no right or wrong.
